Carbometrics Co-founder named as 2023 Chemistry World Entrepreneur of the Year

We are delighted to announce that Carbometrics co-founder and director Harry Destecroix has been awarded the prestigious 2023 Chemistry World Entrepreneur of the Year from the Royal Society of Chemistry in recognition of brilliance in research and innovation.

Founder of Science Creates and Managing Partner of Science Creates Ventures, Harry won the prize for co-founding Ziylo and Carbometrics, and building the Science Creates ecosystem which provides facilities and funding for multiple chemistry-based start-ups. He joins a prestigious list of past winners in the RSC’s prize portfolio, 60 of whom have gone on to win Nobel Prizes for their work, including 2022 Nobel laureate Carolyn Bertozzi and 2019 Nobel laureate John B Goodenough.
